Like I said in the last post, I am terrible at updating and this post was supposed to be put up about 2 weeks ago. So here it is . . .
So every Friday the Miami DOOR site has a community day. The first few involved reading and discussing books, talking about our placements, and settling house tensions, but those were only the first few. The other aspect of community day that those lacked was a community service project.
That week we were pumped our first service day because it was at a Habitat for Humanity site in South Miami. As we pull up to the site in the early hours of the morning we were greeted this . . .

So what are we told to do? You guessed it . . . move the thing. So we were given these to help with the task . . .

A note for my dear Camp Fraser interns . . .
Moving tumulchuously large mound of mulch or in my most recent case dirt, is a skill that God will most likely require of you at every site you go to.

Haha that's hilarious that you traveled all the way to Florida just to dig more mulch. I hope you're doing really well. I would leave a longer, better comment, but I have too mulch homework tonight to be creative.
